Summary of Shadow of Doubt
Kitt Devereux (Melanie Griffith) is a Los Angeles defense attorney who takes on a headline-caliber murder case. The prosecution is led by her former lover, Assistant District Attorney, Jack Campioni (Tom Berenger). As Kitt and her high-tech investigator search for the evidence to prove a young boy's innocence, she must confront an accused rapist from her past and a Senator who is campaigning for a presidential nomination. To uncover the truth behind the crime, Kitt soon realizes she may not only have to risk ending her career but also her life. Directed by Randall Kleiser (GREASE, THE BLUE LAGOON.)
