Sex and the City - The Movie, 2008

An hour too long and not about anything. Conflict comes two scenes at a time, one to introduce it, one to resolve it. There are laughs, not as big or as often as the tv show, but it's still kind of funny. The movie doesn't have any flow, focus or conflict for the first hour. It might not be the first hour, I couldn't keep track because I felt like it had hit the two hour mark very early in the movie. It just throws unnecessary conflict in and resolves it poorly. Another thing, nothing happens on screen. It is all told, not shown. Something happens somewhere else, and one of the characters tells the other, then they talk about it, but we never see the actual action. It's REALLY boring.
