Rotten Tomatoes review: "Did they really say 'I saved your ass' it medieval Europe?"
When I first saw the trailers spring 2010, I knew Season of the Witch was going to suck - and I still wanted to watch it. It was supposed to come out August 2010 and I marked my calendar for this deliciously awful pile of crap. Anyway, so it didn't come out August 2010. When it finally came out, I thought that maybe they had done things to improve the movie and that it might have some formidable qualities (haha). I did not read any reviews as not to spoil the surprise. I walked into the theaters last week and saw a total of three other people in the theater (trailers were already showing). This was the day after opening release.
This movie sucked so hard. Anachronistic dialogue and even worse and out of place acting. The girl in the cage was kind of hot in that way that makes you feel sort of creepy and out of touch with yourself for thinking she is hot. I still liked the movie. It provided some good laughs. Parts of it were actually kind of scary.

Visually stunning
Visually stunning but otherwise campy and embarrassing, Seasons of the Witch is another Cage's film to get as far away from as you can.

Nick, fire your agent. ASAP
Nick Cage is a good enough actor. From The Rock to the mesmerizing Face/Off he has an impressive repertoire. That is, if you take him 10 years in the past. But for 10 years now, he was maybe in two or three good films. And since 2005's Lord of War...

Nick, Fire your agent, for the fans.
Seasons of the Witch is another piece of crap. An "epic" supernatural period whatever. Sorry for the language, but all I have to say is this: It was SH*T!

Cant rate it, because I have not seen it yet, but I will say this: Based on how messed up the remake of WickerMan was, Its probably not going to be a great film.
What does Nic Cage have against Witches? Sheesh.
The premise looks awful.
