SPOILER ALERT.......I loved this movie. You can hear the voice of Woody Allen in every character of this movie. Scarlett Johansson seems to excel in Woody Allen movies. A well known British newspaper man comes back from the dead (a ghost) and tells a young journalist that he knows who the Tarot Card killer is. A SCOOP. Woody and Scarlett must do some detective work. A great Script, great acting, I loved this movie and gave it 5*****STARS

I have never in my life ever completely hated a movie as much as this one. I just finished watching it and it actually felt like the seconds were draining away from my life. I was actually temped to leave several times because I felt my eyes glazing...

I have never in my life ever completely hated a movie as much as this one. I just finished watching it and it actually felt like the seconds were draining away from my life. I was actually temped to leave several times because I felt my eyes glazing over but I actually thought it might get better. It didn't. First of all I've seen movies with Scarlett Johansson in it and she is always so lifeless on screen. The only movie I saw where she seemed remotely likable was in Ghost World but even then she just seemed a little sullen and bored. I saw the previews for this and I thought it looked cute, she seemed different for once perkier and sweeter maybe. While it was a slight improvement, it just kind of showed what a terrible actress she is. Also I usually like Hugh Jackson but he was just so dull it seemed like he was just reading a part. and my God does Woody Allen ever just shut the hell up, I honestly wanted to strangle him, he is in almost every scene and just keeps blabbering on and on. The acting was bad, alot of things just didn't make sense this movie is utter crap don't waste your time.

This isn't a bad movie, and if you are capable of forgetting that Woody Allen made it, you may enjoy it. But even then, you might not. it has some twists, turns and 'surprises' that can be downright stupid. It does have (to a small degree) that...

This isn't a bad movie, and if you are capable of forgetting that Woody Allen made it, you may enjoy it. But even then, you might not. it has some twists, turns and 'surprises' that can be downright stupid. It does have (to a small degree) that signature Woody Allen dialogue, which is a small saving grace, but it turns out that without a convincing and engaging plot to say things in, the character's words matter very little.
