The SAW series continues with Saw 6, and this time, it is a game of life and death, in more ways than one. Jigsaw's game this time: An insurance agent, who holds the power of people being allowed or not allowed to get policies, i.e., the power of life and death, in this case all according to greed, gets to put his power of whether people live or die to the test, as associates of the agent may get to feel the effects of the agent's actions. Meanwhile, Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) learns that being Jigsaw's "heir" may not be as easy as it looks as the police may discover his second "job", but there is someone else out after him, someone Hoffman hadn't expected... SAW 6, hits it's stride again after the "changing of the guard" trilogy of SAW 3 through 5, and I was entertained throughout. SAW 6, for all of you playing at home, also reveals what long time fans have been what waiting for: What's in the wooden box that Jill (Betsy Russell) has, and more inportantly, what was in Amanda's (Shawnee Smith) letter that affected her so? And don't stop the disc after the end credits, for there is an scene, not seen in theatrical release, which may very well be (or begin to be) resolved in SAW 7, to be released on 10-22-10. Any-hoo, the game returns in style, as I give SAW 6 four stars, and happy viewing!!!
