For me the best of the 7 movies (the first one a close second). it really kept me on the edge of my seat and i was prety surprised with the final twist (as always the saw series delivers with the final movie being an exception). it really gives you a lot of back story making you understand a lot of things. SAW the best series of movies ever made (for me).

From the moment you enter this installment you feel in familiar territory. New traps. Same brutal deaths and gore. Then, it tones down. You're grabbed and taken into the past. Piece by piece you begin to see how each moment is tied together from the other films. How deep does this go? As you get to see past events, you get to see another game being played on the side. Two mirrors: one past, one present. Saw franchise continues to keep fans satisfied.

I think my bar was set so low that I didn't think this was too bad, though dare I say, it lacked the depth the previous Saws had and the ending appears to be missing. Anyone know where it is? Is it in the extras, or an Easter Egg perhaps?

Leaning toward connectivity more so then sheer fear, Saw V attempts to build on the sequel theme of "the more in his trap the better" philosophy. While this surely may turn heads to a few of the squeamish here or there, over all, this installment of...

Leaning toward connectivity more so then sheer fear, Saw V attempts to build on the sequel theme of "the more in his trap the better" philosophy. While this surely may turn heads to a few of the squeamish here or there, over all, this installment of the franchise weighs better than a few of it's predisessors but by no means comes close to the first. And in what many might have thought that this was to be the last...

WTF Jigsaw?
You know I never thought I'd like the saw movies until a friend of mine got me to watch them... I loved the first four, but Saw V sucked out loud. The traps were nowhere near as unnerving, the plot became increasingly predictable, and, worst of all, it was only an hour and a half long! There were only a total of six traps, four of which come off as a bad montage scene, cut in as the movie went. If rumors that this is the final Saw film are true, they've chosen to end on a sad and sour note.
