Red Tails, 2012

Red Tails is a good action film, which means it does nothing exceptional but does everything well. Telling the true story of an African American squad of fighter pilots in WW2 (I'm surprised Denzel Washington wasn't in this, it's usually his niche), this movie moves along well and gets you attached to the characters. If you worry about their safety, it means the movie worked. Nice action sequences, with a twist of wartime drama, and of course some good air-raid fights which are always fun to watch.
