I can't say I disliked this movie but the more I think about it, the more I wonder why. Boring aliens, a wimpy Rock & a few car chases & not much else. Certainly none of the original's magic.

This Sci-Fi Remake, er, reimagining of the 1970's Disney classic has an interesting premise, but an interesting premise ALONE is not a movie make. Dwayne Johnson does have enough charm to elevate it from a 2 star, and the supporting cast isn't bad...

First... Take off your Critic's Hat... Second get some popcorn and milk duds... Last immerse yourself into the story and have a little fun! This is not a remake of the original, nor was it intended to be. Its just a cool movie that is fun to watch....
