A radio personality, wheelchair bound journalist Issac, ( Nick Stahl) hears of a group of people who want to be disabled even though they are able bodied. This is strange stuff, this is going down the rabbit hole. Fiona (Vera Farmiga) agrees to help Issac with this story, because Fiona is a wannabe. Issac meets with the group and asks the questions, why would anyone want to be disabled? But no one can really answer. This story has a few twists and turns, is Issac really disabled? And who is Fiona? I loved this movie because it is well written, acted and photographed. Nick Stahl is at the top of his game as usual, Vera Farmiga continues to show different colors and textures of her wide range of acting abilities. Vera is simply amazing. Watch this movie and you will know you are not in Kansas any more. An independent, as good as it gets. A 5*****STAR movie IMHO

Really more of a 3- for me. It's sort of a film about which I never really got excited but was still enjoyable. Vera Farmiga really carried this movie, managing to make me feel uncomfortable in almost every scene. Her character reminded me of a nicer, less unhinged version of Annie Wilkes from "Misery." Overall, this film was sort of like Cronenberg's "Crash" on quaaludes. Also, I was turned off by how twisty it got. One twist, two twists...ok. But more and more twists just kept emerging, and I felt like it became absurd and silly. Still, it's a film worth watching for Vera Farmiga's performance alone.
