absolute must see. Learn about Iran and learn about Iranian women while being thoroughly entertained. The German Expressionism-type animation was amazing. There were shots that I wish I could print out and put on my wall. Read and rate it

"Persepolis" melds superb animation -- it's hand-drawn and tremendously imaginative, yet simple -- to a wonderful story about a girl's coming of age and finding her place first in Iran's and later in Western society. The characters are so well drawn... Read and rate it
