Summary of Peaches
Orphaned as a young girl, Steph (Emma Lung) has been brought up by her Aunt Jude (Jacqueline McKenzie) in a small Australian town, whose main industry centers on peaches. When her mother's diary finds its way into her hands, it opens up a window onto her unknown family that will change Steph's life forever. She learns of her mother's affair with a foreman named Alan (Hug Weaving, THE MATRIX, THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY), and when Steph tracks him down, she learns a few things about herself as well. This touching, beautifully shot, erotic coming-of-age tale was helmed by the acclaimed director of THE INTERVIEW, Craig Monagan.
