Summary of Parting Shots
Many conversations have turned to the topic of what to do if someone only has a short time left to live. Say goodbye to loved ones? Slump into a depression? Go party-crazy and live it up until the Reaper comes knocking? For Harry Sterndale (Chris Rea) the choice is simple: Tracking down everyone who has ever done him wrong, Harry is hellbent on getting some revenge before he passes into the ether. While this might sound like a bleak premise for a movie, PARTING SHOTS is, in fact, darkly humorous, with musician-turned-actor Rea ably supported by a stellar cast, which includes appearances from Ben Kingsley (GANDHI), Bob Hoskins (MONA LISA), Diana Rigg (THE AVENGERS), Joanna Lumley (ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS), and many others.
