While the movie is exactly what you expect and is nothing new or original, it's just hard to resist routing for the crew. I think these movies tap into that "stickin' it to the Man" desire all of us have from time to time. You know there is some level of good writing, at least in the area of character development, when you can find yourself pulling for a group of criminals to pull off their illegal plan. Of course, some of this relies on gimmicks, such as just making the guy they are stealing from a big enough tool that is seem like he earned the role of victim of such a crime and making all the criminals fun-loving and jovial. But these gimmicks have always worked on a basic level.

Better than the 2nd, but certainly not as good as the first. But everyone knows that already.
Fairly confusing if you don't pay attention. But I guess that's the whole idea of the "big caper" movie. Somehow it all works out in the end.

The first two were interesting but the bottom simply falls out of this final one. There's soooo many stars in this now that everyone falls into cameo slots except the main players, and even their screen time is limited. The story is far too...

There's soooo many stars in this now that everyone falls into cameo slots except the main players, and even their screen time is limited. The story is far too predictable and unexciting to make it worth recommending over the prior two. Pacino is even boring in his role which is too bad because it started off well enough. The other element this lacked was the fun. This one wasn't fun and the only time I laughed was when Affleck and Caan evicted Paymer from his room.

Not as good as Ocean 11, but definitely much better then Ocean 12. All the original crew return in this supposed finally to the Ocean series. The plot is fast paced and if you snooze you will miss out. It sort of has a 60's GoGo theme to the music and opening/ closing credits. There are also some well placed site gags and jokes to make you laugh, with enough heart to make you feel sad. Like the first two movies some of the things they did were totally impossible to imagine doing, but that is OK. Ocean Thirteen is still overall a great flick.

ALMOST AN HOUR OF THIS FILM IS JUST SETTING UP THE HEIST and the payoff comes at the end. Most of us know that this film is not as good as the first but better than the second. I enjoyed it and it's worth a one-time viewing since it's just a popcorn flick but don't expect much since everything was done in the first Oceans. Seeing Pacino with this great cast was a highlight but you know what coming and it's fantasy but those of you wanting too see this already know that. So if Ocean's 12 annoyed you then view this and say good-bye to the Oceans' series since there is no more left to do and remember to hang in there since an hour of your time is just setting up the whole film which can get a slow at times.

Much improved over the previous installment, '13' contains the spine-tingling moments, the heart-rate quickeners, the victorious loveliness of the first. You really want to cheer for these guys again, and are able to forget they are Hollywood...

Much improved over the previous installment, '13' contains the spine-tingling moments, the heart-rate quickeners, the victorious loveliness of the first. You really want to cheer for these guys again, and are able to forget they are Hollywood royalty and actually start knowing the characters again. Like all three Oceans films, however, the plot is somewhat convoluted and difficult to follow.
