My favorite comedy of all time. George Clooney blew me away, I had previously misjudged him. And who doesn't love the Coen Bros? They had me hooked after that look on Clooney's face just before he falls off the train in the first scene.

Offbeat and clever
To this day, I still call cash "folding money." If you've written off George Clooney as tiresome, give him one last chance and see this movie. Everyone is cute and adorable and full of great lines.

one of my favorites
a great clever movie that make me smile everytime I watch it. Clooney in an original character role is the leader of the three of them while they on the run from prison.

One of my all time favorites!
So many aspects of "O Brother" bring a big smile to my face, and make it so enjoyable to watch. The characters, played by the likes of Clooney, Turturro and Nelson are colorful and entertaining. Having them as reluctant partners on the run from the law is brilliant. The plot is filled with numerous funny adventures and incidents. And the music, which includes various oldies, is just lovely and exactly fits the film's atmosphere, light and humorous. I personally liked the way the music was incorporated in the plot. It's surprising that some of the songs are actually sung by the various characters and not just played in the background, although the film is not a musical. All that and more is what makes me recommend this film. With "O Brother" the Coen Bros prove once again how unique their work is.
