Notting Hill: nice views of London neighborhoods, sweet and funny British people, and one perfectly horrible American actress that no one in his right mind could "love". As a love letter to London, this film works. As a love letter to Julia Roberts, it does not.
Better Hugh Grant films: Love Actually (if you like London), Two Weeks Notice (if you prefer New York). About A Boy is good too.

funny and romantic
This movie is a great date movie. It is pretty funny with Hugh Grants cute British humor and romantic with the love story that unfolds between Julia Roberts character, a famous actress - and Hug Grants, a regular British guy.

I like this movie. The script is clever and the actors are great. Hugh Grant is so cute playing the shy British guy. The story is about love conquering all.

A sweet romantic comedy that doesn't make you feel stupid while watching it. Julia Roberts is good in the role of a movie star (probably because she is a movie star...) and Hugh Grant is silly and charming as ever. A good film, funny and not too...
