Summary of Nos plus belles vacances
It is July 1976, during the long summer heat wave. Claude, an Algerian Jew who settled in France fifteen years ago, takes his young wife Isabelle, their two sons and his mother-in-law to Brittany. It was Isabelle who chose the location, a small village where she was born, after she discovered her husband was having an affair. The day after their arrival, they join up with some old friends, but the locals regard them with suspicion. Breton Catholics do not mix easily with Algerian Jews...
