One of my favourites
This is great boy meets girl story & one of my favourites. I own this film on blueray & can't count the amount of times i've watched it. As a musician it's fun to watch how the characters chase around the fictional where's fluffy band & how the New york music scene is represented. This movie has a fantastic soundtrack which I've also bought. If your a fan of Michael Cera or just enjoy well made rom-coms, then I would defiantly recommend this film.

It's standard, you know exactly what's going to happen, but it's still a fun ride, and sadly sweet.
I wish there were more indie rock references, or maybe they were so good i missed them.

If you've seen the trailer, you've seen the movie, minus a couple scenes. This was an okay movie with a couple laughs but really goes way downhill with the last 20 minutes. Michael Cera was his usual silly self and his group of friends in the film...

Michael Cera was his usual silly self and his group of friends in the film were the best part of this entire movie. Everyone else, especially Kat Dennings, is just plain annoying. Skip it. 2.5 stars. 2/5/09

In this movie, Michael Cera takes strides towards making a more personable character. For once, he just plays a nice, normal guy. Not a guy in love with his cousin, or a teenaged daddy. Just a guy who is hung up on a former flame. He makes her mix CD's in hopes that she'll regret leaving him. Then, he meets Kat Dennings' character by chance, and it turns out they have the same interests in music and life. Along the way, will Cera's former girl become too jealous to stand seeing Kat fall for Michael? Nick and Norah speaks to the iGeneration better than any movie has - without being loud, obnoxious or overly vulgar. And that's something to applaud.
