In love with Moulin Rouge
when i began to watch it I wasn't expecting to enjoy it. but it enchanted me with its music and plot. even though there are parts where its bright and moves quickly that give you a head ache. Moulin Rouge has captured me.

When I first sat down to watch this movie and saw the little fairy, I groaned in my head. I expected something pretentious and off the mark. But I was patient and I what I got was the most incredible love story since "Grease". Many people talk about how well Nicole Kidman did in this film, but (for my money) Ewan McGregor was the real heart of this musical epic. His rendition of timeless love songs went straight to my own heart. In fact, having seen him in this, I think his "Star Wars" work is schlock. Some may hate it, but many more will love this picture. I highly recommend it.

This has to be one of my all-time favorites. I have, without fail, watched this film at least once every two months. Nicole Kidman has impressive pipes, surprisingly so, while Ewan McGregor could make any girl swoon every time he sings.

What to say about this movie. Excellent Superb Brilliant Amazing!
This movie exceeded all expectations I had for it. I heard it was good, but when I watched it, I went head over heels, literally. I couldn't stop obsessing over every element of this movie. The acting, the special effects, the great cinematography etc. Above all else, the love story. It is so beautiful, so lovely, so REAL. That is why this movie is my favorite.
No film can exceed the feelings I have for this movie.
See it. That isn't an option. You will seriously love this film. =)

I will never understand the fuss around this movie. Just because it's a musical doesn't mean it's justified in having such a weak plot. An incredibly superficial and "been there done that" story of love that must overcome social differences. Every tourist anecdote about nineteenth-century Paris is mixed in. The concept of taking actors who can't really sing and letting them chant the repertoire of corny, irrelevant songs is very bad indeed.
