Holy Grail is simply one of the funniest movies ever made. This satire mocks all things medieval, from the England/France rivalry, to the chivalry of knights, to the Catholic Church, and even to the structure of government at the time. In every scene, there is something to laugh at, and there are still more subtle jokes to be found after multiple viewings. It is simply a brilliant comedy. Oh, and by the way, Nineveh was the capital of Assyria...

The holy grail is cult classic! I used to watch this movie at every oppurtunity. Every time I wanted to watch a movie we would watch the holy grail, so I must have seen it like hundreds of times. That's why I havent' seen that many movies in my life...

The holy grail is cult classic! I used to watch this movie at every oppurtunity. Every time I wanted to watch a movie we would watch the holy grail, so I must have seen it like hundreds of times. That's why I havent' seen that many movies in my life because I have spent som much of my movie watching time watching this film.

"Monty Python and the Holy Grail" is, quite arguably, the funniest film to ever grace the big screen. Every scene presents a new, hilarious scenario, and there are laughs a-plenty. The Bridge of Death, the Black Night, the French Taunter, etc. all are amazingly acted and written. Anyone who enjoys a screw-ball comedy, or any comedy for that matter, should rent this film. If you have enjoyed "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" you should check out the other Monty Python films, such as The Meaning of Life, and The Life of Brian.
