Summary of Men of Respect
Shakespeare's "Macbeth" gets transplanted to the world of organized crime in this bloody thriller. Mike Battaglia (John Turturro) is an ambitious Mafioso who will do whatever it takes to make it to the top. Encouraged by his manipulative wife, Ruthie (Katherine Borowitz), Mike kills syndicate boss Charlie D'Amico (Rod Steiger) -- setting off more waves of violence. Now at the head of the crime family, Mike finds that his murderous drive for power has taken a heavy toll on his psyche.
