Memories, 1995

The real shining achievement of this film, at least for me, was Magnetic Rose. I thought that the art and plotline were gorgeously intertwined. I really enjoyed the way that it played out and I think that Morimoto did an amazing job. The other two films were so-so in my opinion. I didn't think that stink bomb was that good, though the art direction was good. And Cannon Fodder just didn't have an interesting plot. Otomo's artistic style really shines (in Cannon Fodder) but the plot just doesn't lead to anything interesting. This was an okay collection of shorts that I wish had more to do with each other.
