Summary of Maybe I'll Come Home in the Spring
Denise Miller (Sally Field) is a runaway teenager in the hippie sixties who returns to the home she was kicked out of. Her parents (Jackie Cooper and Eleanor Parker) don't understand her, disapprove of her lifestyle and her counterculture boyfriend. Now they are starting to act the same way towards Denise's younger sister, who is just beginning to experiment with the hippie lifestyle. Denise is torn between her family and a man who represents the unconventional and anti-establishment lifestyle she is attracted to.
