Summary of Country Strong

Kelly includes Beau in her plans as she prepares for a comeback tour orchestrated by her manager husband, James (Tim McGraw), who also has a protege he is grooming for stardom. As the quartet goes on the road, personal demons and romantic entanglements threaten to derail them all.

strong it is

So good! I loved this movie. I loved that we finally get to see Gwyneth singing her heart out, and she has such a great voice and is so talented. I don’t remember her ever being so sincere in a film, at least not recently so it was refreshing to see... Read and rate it

I expected more

Unfortunately there's not enough drama here, even though the movie explores deep issues like love and romance. It stays on a more shallow level, with the bigger focus being on the music of the movie. Read and rate it
