An hour and a half of bad CGI and a story that makes very little sense. But then again, the movie poster itself tells everything- an angel with a machine gun? I think I saw it coming.

All I have to say is, what version of the Bible were the screenwriters reading? In no way would God ever send demonized angels to take out mankind. Why? If He has the power to send out a flood and take out mankind, why use angel possessed people?...

If He has the power to send out a flood and take out mankind, why use angel possessed people? Angels do not possess humans, EVER! Only demons do this. If you wanted to do a God is done with man story, you should have at least kept it in line with His book. To say that it is not about Christianity is wrong, since Gabriel and Michael are Christian plain and simple. Shame on yall for this pitiful piece of work. It is impossible to critique the poorly written and executed movie without giving away the plot, its just that bad. The situations are ridiculous for any movie. Its reminiscent of the old B movies from the 70s, but not as humorous. As a Christian I found this really offensive, to say that our God is this mean spirited and unloving. That an angel is capable of more love than God? Seriously, this borders on what got Lucifer thrown out of Heaven in the first place. Not familiar with that story movie makers? Try opening the Bible, read and then make your movie.

Legion was a pretty decent apocalyptic film revolving around the humans fight for the right to remain on Earth. The characters were well developed and everyone had their own piece of the storyline and motivation to drive them forward (or backwards as the cast may be). The angels involved in the storyline were well crafted and possessed a unique prospective to the War against humanity. The movie even had a fairly decent amount of humor involved in the process. This to me is almost always a requirement for a good horror movie.

seriously? this was supposed to be some epic angel & demon movie? seriously?
this was nothing more than a george romero zombie movie, with demons instead of zombies and angels in place of people. don't get me wrong, i LOVE zombie movies, and i LOVE angel movies. but where was the epic-ness in this? there was no exposition until almost 30 minutes into the movie. the only scene in the movie was the diner they started out in. and the only GOOD scenes in the movie were ALL in the previews.
kudos to the marketing people that put together the preview, because it was AWESOME. and compared to the full length movie, made you think it was something ENTIRELY different.

Legion got a tense and promising start, but after 20 minutes it just becomes messy and uninteresting.
The actions scenes were also mediocre at best.
The cast, especially Paul Bettany and Dennis Quaid deserves much better roles.

This movie looked great in the previews. The scenes they showed made it look like it was going to be an epic battle. It was not. This movie starts out fantastic; however, it fails to deliver on expectations. Soon after the first rush, it all goes downhill. Dialog is sparse and the acting is horrible. The few pieces of dialog that advance the plot make little sense. I will admit the final few fight scenes were good, but the ending reminded you exactly what you just watched.
