Gave me the rare experience of switching between squirming in my seat and checking the time during the film. It had one good laugh. The script was not very funny, did not move well, had no balance. The film could have ended at any point in the last hour, but unfortunately it did not. We never really had a character to root for. Krasinski wasnt so bad, they actually let him off the hook even though he was kind of the bad guy. Clooney wasnt so good. He just didnt really have a character, what was his goal? Zellweger was at fault for betraying Krasinski, but then they make her out to be the victim in order to solidify her relationship with Clooney, which was contrived. Pryce was far out of place in this Preston Sturges slapstick wanna-be. In these films, the only actual bad guys are caricatures, but Pryce was actually a real, menacing a**hole. Most of the plot points came out of nowhere, and a lot of the exposition lead to nothing. I wish I could give this 1 star, however, there are films out there like Fools Gold, which, even though I hated Leatherheads, do not deserve the same status.

This film isn't Clooney's best work, but he does go pretty far to carry this screwball comedy. If you're a fan of Clooney, you'll probably like this film. If not, you may want to look elsewhere.

This was simply not funny. The preview for this movie made it seem like there was going to be some great stuff, but in general I was bored silly through most of the film. There were perhaps 2 chuckles I had, but that did not offset the slow crawl...

This was simply not funny. The preview for this movie made it seem like there was going to be some great stuff, but in general I was bored silly through most of the film. There were perhaps 2 chuckles I had, but that did not offset the slow crawl and boredom the rest of the film delivered. I didn't like Zellweger in the film either, that or I just didn't believe the two were romantically linked and that was the nail in the coffin for the film. Too bad, the premise seemed like a good idea.
