tries too hard to be unpredictable, but...
I thought the movie was a little too predictable.
Don't get me wrong, it was a fun movie but it tried too hard to throw you off guard.
You could see stuff coming a mile away.

Setting aside the unrealistic plot, and the redundant aspect of Jamie Fox' family life (the cause for the annoying, and so American last scene, then it was a well made thriller, and a well spent 100 minutes, successfully causing me to be against the system and in favor of the vengeful, unlikely criminal.

I wanted to love this movie, I certainly loved the actors in it. The script, however, stretches the limits of credulity, and then unfortunately shatters it into a thousand pieces. What you're asked to believe in this movie is akin to what you'd see...

I wanted to love this movie, I certainly loved the actors in it. The script, however, stretches the limits of credulity, and then unfortunately shatters it into a thousand pieces. What you're asked to believe in this movie is akin to what you'd see in Saturday morning superhero cartoons. Though I confess, I liked how Clyde handled his family's killer. That part, at least, almost anyone could relate to.

This movie had a lot of potential but the ending is a huge letdown. It's like the writers built up the plot, then realized they were running long and slapped in a quick ending.

If you enjoyed Taken you will enjoy Law Abiding Citizen. It's far fetched and pretty much a fantasty revenge film but if you know that before-hand then you this action packed film will keep you entertained till the last scene. Gerard Butler plays a good role and of course the ending is far from boring. Worth the rent when it hits dvd something in Feb.
