Summary of La battaglia di El Alamein
In this dramatization of a key battle from World War II, the story is told from the point of view of the Axis forces. As the Allies are about to attack the German and Italian positions in North Africa, brothers Giorgio (Frédérick Stafford) and Claudio Borri (Enrico Maria Salerno) prepare for the oncoming offensive. Meanwhile, Field Marshal Rommel (Robert Hossein) -- commander of the German army and architect of the desert war -- is ailing and returns to Germany before the battle begins.
