Un coup fou pas raté ;oP
Un film d'animation signé Dreamworks maitres en la matière avec Pixar depuis quelques années. Je me disais, avec pessimisme, avant de voir ce film "un panda qui fait du kung fu, mouais bof, on a deja eu droit en animation a un âne qui parle, un poisson, un pigeon, un éléphant, une fourmi, un lion, une girafe, un zèbre, un hippopotame, un rat, un mouton, des pingouins, des singes, des abeilles, des souris, des requins... alors c'est vrai que le panda ça a pas été fait..." et finalement pas si déçu que ça: une modélisation et des décors réussis, une animation bien gérée, un scénario qui casse pas des briques et dont on sent venir le dénouement à mille bornes mais ce film n'en reste pas moins un bon divertissement (surtout pour des mômes a mon avis). Certes il n'est pas de la trempe d'un Shrek mais on ne s'ennuie pas vraiment. Ce film en lui-même ne vaut pas plus de 2 étoiles d'après moi mais je lui en ajoute une parce qu'esthétiquement c'est bien foutu. A voir pour se détendre et se vider la tête sans se poser de question.

An ominous evil lurks over the valley as a fallen son plans his return to the home that rejected him. The only thing that can protect the people is the emergence of the long prophesied DRAGON WARRIOR. Unfortunately the aged master selects a fat, lazy, Panda who "accidentally" falls before him. The Kung Fu warriors must vanquish there prejudice and the Panda must succeed over his self doubt in order for the prophesy to be fulfilled.
Fairly standard material from the Dreamworks animation machine. The plot follows along the same lines as Shark Tale, and Shrek. But the art design and color scheme was top notch. I loved being immersed in this world even if the story was pedestrian. Oh yes and Jack Black was not nearly as annoying as I thought he would be - Scadoosh!

Kung Fu Panda was great. No doubt that it performed great at the box office. This film is about a Panda who desperately wants to follow his dream of learning kung fu. The good thing about the film was the coolness depicted by Panda. Awesome....

fun movie, that doesn't rely on warn out popular culture jokes that so many DreamWorks animation films stoop too. It's the classic mix of sound story telling, humor and heart that make it nearly impossible to find flaw in.
