As usual, a movie promoted as a crude joke fest turns out to be heavier on life lessons that are just common sense than it is on humor. There are several funny lines, but the humor is quickly sucked out by the annoying fights and bickering from annoying characters. The person who needed more screen time was Jonah Hill, as he was hilarious. I just wished they would have delivered the no-holds-barred comedy they advertised instead of a dramadey or whatever other made up word you want to throw in that means they tricked us into watching a drama.

Firstly, as most Apatow movies, there's a large amount of swearing, especiall the F word, so if you're offended by that - steer clear. Setting that aside, I found the movie entertaining in nearly all the scenes outside of Seth Rogen's house. The scenes in his house are so stupid and moronic that it feels like a completely different movie. The dialogue is vulgar, childish, boring and not funny for me. Give me witty banter between characters, not stupid situations like getting diseases off of pillows and whatnot. The scenes with Heigl, Rudd and Mann are great. That's where the movie has heart and is funny. It's definitely not as great IMO as the critics say, but has some funny spots.

The humor rarely crosses into gross-out humor, although it can be elitist pop-culture reference laden (perfect for me)...Rogen is clearly on a path to stardom, and Paul Rudd may finally be getting that break he's been after for more than a decade. Judd Apatow is the best comedic writer/director we've got going...see this movie before the train leaves you behind!

A very sweet very funny film. If you are looking for something sensitive int he mold of "Look Who's Talking" go watch something else, you will be disappointed and complain out the language. However if you have ever made a bong out of a water cooler...

However if you have ever made a bong out of a water cooler or been asked to leave somewhere due public drunkenness and swearing at a tree then this is your film. It does have a good heart, but its the same kind of good heart your drunk uncle who passed out on your parents doorstep has.

Seth Rogen plays his part well, as does Katherine Heigl. I really enjoyed Paul Rudd's part, especially when his guilty secret is discovered. Worth a rental.

They are very different one of each other and there lifestyle too. Funny and a bit silly, I enjoyed it. It's perfect for a date night
