Kick-Ass

Reviews Add Review

I absolutely adored every second of this movie. It was the perfect mix of action, extreme violence, storyline, heart, and fun. One of the best movies I've seen this year, and has now found a spot in my favorite movies ever. It's nice to see Nic Cage...
Better than expected... more like, "totally awesome cult classic"!
Missed seeing it at the cinema (unfortunately)and saw the DVD even then was not attracted by the cover or the poster, but in the absence of many decent films this year took the plunge and was really totally amazed at how GOOd this film is. The...
Like the comic books that figure in the story, the film is itself a comic book, with no redeeming value. It¿s basically a waste of two hours, and inspires no thought beyond wondering how Nicholas Cage ever got involved in it. Like a comic, all the...
Holy crap
This is by far the best super hero movie I've ever seen... No one I have recommended this to has been disappointed.
2hr of ass-kicking
Kick-ass doesn't even attempt to be nice for a second, it's violent and won't apologize for it. It manages to be insane, pointless, and fun all at the same time. By the end, you somehow appreciate Kick-ass for redefining the meaning of 'acceptable'.
Funny But Weird
Didn't totally get it. Though the punch lines were easy to spot, and i laughed i didn't understand what the film is. Full-out comedy or Semi-serious?
Surprisingly Good
Thought it was about to be a Mystery Men replica, but it was a lot better.
Kicks Ass!
This was a very original and amusing movie, I really liked it. The audience even applauded several times during the movie. As long as you don't take it seriously, fun is guaranteed, since it's like they took Matilda from Leon, put her on speed, and...
What a great film!
This film is purified post modernism, both in form and in substance. It is definitly one of the freshest views on the subject of super heroes I've seen in a long time, and everything contributes to it: the young relatively unknown actors, the...
Superbad meets Kill Bill
I enjoyed Kick-Ass a lot. Usually the movie posters lie and reveal nothing about the movie. This time the poster described it quite good: it’s Superbad meets Kill Bill. If you liked these two movies you’ll probably like Kick-Ass to. People who won’t...
