Boring movie. I rented it after hearing everyone almost foaming at the mouth over how great it was. The entire movie felt rushed, the plot sucked, the characters sucked, etc. I actually couldn't wait for the movie to be over.

I love this movie, the reason why is the writing, a great script. the acting is top notch and the movie has Jennifer Garner.
Juno... The movie with the magical moment of Jennifer Garner talking to the unborn baby that Juno is carrying. Jennifer Garner, the adopting parent of Juno's baby, accidentally runs into Juno at the mall, this is when she asks if she can feel Juno's stomach, she says she cannot feel anything, then Juno tells Jennifer that if she talks to the baby, the baby will be able to hear her. It is worth watching this movie just for this particular magical moment in the movie. I love this movie. I love it so much that I gave it 5*****STARS.

A really charming movie, with some very appealing characters, most notably Juno herself. Ellen Page is dead-on perfect as the pregnant, smart teen who uses her hard-boiled shell to cover her vulnerability and fear. Michael Cera proves that his time as a hapless teen role in Arrested Development was well invested; he is as confused by women as men twice his age (including myself). Direction is efficient and unobtrusive: Jason Reitman lets the script and his cast tell the story, without intrusive camera tricks or oddball shots. A true rarity: a teen comedy that neither insults the intelligence older audiences, nor bores teens with lectures.

When this became available on DVD, I was a bit hesitant. It sounded like a REALLY BAD Judd Apatow impersonator decided to mate with Kevin Smith and Indie films to create one waste of time.
Boy, was I wrong.
The film is really intresting with it's handling of the issue of teen pregnancy, it didn't devolve into offensiveness, yet it also wasn't totally PC (Politically Correct).
Ellen Page does a great job as the film's titular character, her character is very likeable and I hope we see more of Ellen Page in the future.
However, that's not to say that the other cast members didn't give fine performances, in fact, I could fill up this entire review taliking about the performances!
The music is great using a good mixture of classic rock and Indie (A genre dear to my heart).
The writing is funny and clever by stripper-turned screenwriter Diablo Cody.
This is simply a film that cannot be missed, a true 5 star film.

I saw this film at the Telluride Film Festival and it was absolutely the surprise hit of the entire festival. The writing and storytelling are near-perfect, the acting (particularly from Ellen Page) is incredible. It's a touching, funny, and compelling story from start to finish. It's as funny as Superbad, but with broader appeal (read women will like it too). It will be a huge hit and make stars of Ellen Page, Michael Cera (already there?), and the screenwriter Diablo Cody.

Juno has gotten alot of attention and some loved and raved about it while others found it to be no big deal. Juno is a small film like Little Miss Sunshine or Dan in Real Life but the topic here is teenage pregnancy. I enjoyed this movie even though it was trying to be a little to quirky when it didnt have to. The material was strong as were the actors. It is a quick film and might have been hurt by all the hype. If you pop this film in or stumble on it late at night I'm sure many who disliked it would see the charm it holds but seeing it waiting for something big to happen just makes you hate this film. It was refreshing to see a topic like teen pregnancy dealth with head on and many including teens should see this film. It's entertaining and makes you think about a topic in a realistic way without judging the chracters difficult choices.

Quickly, it picks up and gets really good. Ellen Page is simply great in this, and pretty believable as a smart-mouthed kid. Michael Cera is funny, but doesn't have a very big part at all, unfortunately. I've heard it said that this is the movie to perfectly describe the decade in which it was made, and I'll second that. It's a pop culture menagerie that simply can't be missed. It's not all laughs, if that's what you're expecting though. It's also worth mentioning that Juno features the best soundtrack in a long time featuring The Moldy Peaches and Kimya Dawson.

There are just too many scenes that show a house in suburbia for 20 seconds while some corny music plays overtop of it. It happens way too much in this movie. Ok we get it, the director likes obscure music...cool. It seems like it's just filler to pad the run-time of the movie. That being said, it's definitely worth watching for the character of juno. She has a few really funny lines.
