Bad teenage comedy with a bit of lame horror thrown in. I went to see this thinking it would be funny. And it is... kind of. Diablo Cody's writing just didn't work for me here as it did in Juno though. There is so much made up slang, it became annoying. 'Lime Green Jello' means jealous,'salty' means sexy, etc, my mind's eye was constantly rolling. This plays like a PG13 horror movie with rated R language. I was looking forward to seeing some carnage firsthand, but all of the action is off camera. There are a few shots of the gory aftermath though. Megan Fox was sexy in the first transformers movie but the new botox look turns me off. If you just want to see her nude, it doesn't happen but there is a semi-hot girl on girl make out session. I'd advise you to wait to watch it online or on DVD.

Diablo Cody's second dive into high school culture takes a decidedly different turn than it did in Juno. Instead of giving us a sarcastically charming character like Juno, Cody delivers a vampire-like beast in Jennifer (Megan Fox). The dialog remains unique and fresh, but the feeling leaving the theater is drastically different. It's still not a bad a thing, just not as good as Juno. Jennifer's Body is a horror film that doesn't take itself too seriously, and Cody doesn't lose her grasp of how teenagers think it's worse to lose $12 dollars on a corsage than getting killed by a boy-easting hottie.
The brief moments where, at the height of tension, a character says something like "my tit," or "I care about you, not just because I made love to you for four minutes last night," are wonderful. But Jennife's Body isn't for everyone. Other critics have written that this is "Twilight for boys" and Cody seems to be mocking herself with the script. I can see both of those things, and those critics probably weren't fans of Juno. I was, and think Cody created another successful film, but it doesn't have enough heart to be a lasting movie, and it's a bit silly at times. tinyurl.com/filmfan

Surely not fox's greatest performance.
I don't have much to say about this flick, so I'll sum it up in one sentence: Average B movie, definitely doesn't worth all the hype and internet advertising, however it can be decent for watching with friends over a few shots of tequila.

Interesting Movie
I felt this movie was a pretty decent movie overall. It would've been better though without megan fox. I loved the story, I mean it's a hot girl who eats guys, what more do you need? I loved Amanda Seyfried in it, she's got the hot underdog girl...

Interesting Movie
I felt this movie was a pretty decent movie overall. It would've been better though without megan fox. I loved the story, I mean it's a hot girl who eats guys, what more do you need? I loved Amanda Seyfried in it, she's got the hot underdog girl thing going. Unfortunately, I felt the two things I liked were trying to cover up the fact that Megan Fox was just horrible at acting in this movie. Her job was to be a hot girl who eats people, and I felt she failed at making this convincing. So overall, my opinion is, if you can ignore that Megan Fox is in this movie and is lame, then its a good movie worth seeing, if you can't I wouldn't bother.
