Summary of In The Electric Mist
Based on James Le Burke’s intense thriller, In The Electric Mist stars Tommy Lee Jones as Dave Robicheaux, a grizzled detective investigating a string of murders deep in the Louisiana bayou. With each step in his search, Robicheaux is faced with cultural landmines, racial tensions, and long-held grudges that bubble to the surface, obscuring the detective’s path to the truth. Only one thing seems certain: the New Orleans mobster "Baby Feet" Balboni (John Goodman) is at the root of the evil. Taking Balboni down, however, may just bring the chain of violence straight back to Robicheaux’s doorstep.
