In the Army Now, 1994

Hate Pauly Shore all you want, this was one of the most accurate depictions of the modern military that I've seen, and I say this with personal experience. It's even likely that there will be a joker like him in your basic training platoon, so at least give it credit for it's authenticity. Granted, in the name of comedy and stretching a plot, there's some ridiculousness in it, but for the most part, it remains pretty true reality.
