In Dreams, 1999

Tried to talk myself into giving this one 3 stars but just couldn't get there. It was on when I woke up after a nap and I was too lazy to get up or watch something else. Well, I was a bit curious about it too, having just seen it mentioned in a forum discussion a day or so ago. And RD Jr is always worth a look. Sadly, he's only in the movie for 15 minutes or so at the end. Even this bit was pretty awful. Not his fault though. The ending is probably the weakest part of the whole film. Benning is actually excellent in her role; it's just that the film is simultaneously overblown and undercooked. Not a good combination.
