Igor, 2008

Igor is a nicely animated film with a range of star voice overs from Arsenio Hall to Steve Buscemi, however where it excelled animation and voice wise, it lacked in true originality, this is a story we have seen over and over. Little guy wants to be appreciated, over comes a struggle and wins the day. Yawn... I also found some of the imagery a little to dark for kids under 8, while true children are a little more sophisticated these days, I do not believe a six year old wants to see a bunny blow himself up, gnaw off his own feet, or drink poison. Overall the movie was OK, but nothing to write home to mother about.
