I hesitated to give this a fifth star but Cameron Mitchell's performance deserves it. Simply put, I can't get it out of my system - brilliant, fierce, deeply moving. Also, "The Origins of Love" is a terrific song.

I just love this movie. The singing and acting are super. The story is complex yet simple. Love lost and love gained.

i can pour superlatives on this movie from now until eternity: It's clever, funny, witty, emotional, sweeping, has great music, stylish... I could go on, but instead of wasting time reading my review, just go and watch it!
