waste of time
It was more a roasting of comedians set in a family movie backdrop than an actual movie. They didn't really do much, but sit and make fun of each other. And even if they did move around, it was pretty painful to watch. This is probably an attempt...

It was more a roasting of comedians set in a family movie backdrop than an actual movie. They didn't really do much, but sit and make fun of each other. And even if they did move around, it was pretty painful to watch. This is probably an attempt for these comedians to stay relevant since the only thing that I got from this film was that they've aged.

I had more than a few laugh out loud moments during this movie, and that's all I need when I go see a comedy. Among critics this movie gets only 10 percent of positive reviews! Well, I suggest that the critics will go see B&W foreign movies about...

Funny
I had more than a few laugh out loud moments during this movie, and that's all I need when I go see a comedy. Among critics this movie gets only 10 percent of positive reviews! Well, I suggest that the critics will go see B&W foreign movies about fishing, estrangement and death, and I'll go see a fun summer comedy with Adam Sandler.

The cast of Grown Ups need to grow up already.Adam Sandler and his cast of has-beens have ceased to make an original joke since the nineties and this film seems like a big excuse to gather the gang together for another round of tasteless laughs.With a team including Schneider and Spade,can you really hope for anything above mediocre?
Grown Ups is full of people getting hurt or making fart noises which is of course what makes comedy gold for someone who could actually get a kick out of Sandler nowadays.By the end of the of it all I was saddened to realize just how low Happy Madison Productions was sinking and just how intent they were on bringing the rest of the cast down with them.Resulting in nothing but fat jokes to black grandmas,Grown Ups disrespects the audience watching by giving them what they feel they deserve:the all too familiar comedic stupidity that has failed to impressed ever since it was introduced many years ago.With such a large number of actors,it actively feels like another waste.

Not funny.
I love Sandler and the rest, but the fact is that this film simply isn't funny. Its jokes are expected miles away and put in simple words – it just isn't it.

Disappointing!
The all-star cast does not deliver. Sandler, Spade, Rock and the rest raised my hopes high so high, but in fact, this film is childish, full of slapstick unfunny humor. Each one alone is master of his own art, but together something is lost....

Each one alone is master of his own art, but together something is lost. Telling about the reunion of five school buddies going on vacation with their families, the film had its freedom of picking the set, picking the characters and picking everything from the start. But instead we got a film with nothing in it – not even jokes.
