As for highlighting the Hooligan culture, poor at best. Reference to Fight Club were lame too and I loved Fight Club.

Awesome!
Apart from little Petie Dunham's occasionally dodgy accent, this is the finest football film I've ever seen. All about camaraderie, belonging and, ultimately, betrayal, almost of Greek tragedy proportions. The action is impeccably portrayed. If you can't accept the violence and language (and they're there in spades!), it'll never be the film for you but it has lines that get repeated time and time again in my (very mixed) social group. An absolute classic - but I've heard so much that's BAD about the sequel, I think I'll leave it unwatched and this peach untarnished. Simply love it and never fail to be moved to laughter, revulsion and tears. Plus with Charlie's towel scene, the movie has pretty much everything......

Good stuff - nicely shot, cool technique on the fight scenes, and nope, that's it.
Bad stuff - improbable storyline and fast healing bruises, Hunman's accents (pick one will ya?), the time spent I could have been watching something else.

Awful film. It was full of cliches and bad acting. Charlie Hunnam was embarassing and Elijah Wood was one of the funniest miscasts ever.
Really, move on and find something alot better!
