Within 10 minutes I was rooting for the Germans and their heavy bombers to put the entire lot of these pompous idiots out of my misery, preferably in some Dresden-like fireball. The film never got better or changed my mind.

I'd rather have hot coals imbedded into my eye sockets than sit through the first 30 minutes (I watched) again. It is an overwhelmingly humorless, beige and pretentious film.
Sooo boringgg. Took too long to get to the point, and when it did, I was completely disappointed and, sad to say, I saw it coming. Blah. Stupid. 1.5 stars. 1/14/08
