Godzilla, 1998

I recently watched the American Godzilla for the first time in 10 years. My initial reaction when the film was new was that it was a disaster. 10 years later, I found it to be less offensive and a little more fun than I had originally thought. It's still not a great movie and is more of a giant monster movie than a true Godzilla movie. (Yes, there's a difference.) The effects hold up surprisingly well after 10 years too.
