In the year 1984, two Saturday Night Live veterans wrote a film that would change cinema forever! That film was Ghostbusters. Three scientists were fired from their jobs and they end up opening up a paranormal extermination service to make ends meet. Everthing gets well, but their biggest challenge is to deal with when their first client becomes posessed by evil spirits living in her refrigerator. Can our ghostbusting heroes defeat an evil god from the past?
Ghostbusters is presented on it's original widescreen format so you can see more of the picture. Bonus features in this disc include a live-video commentary track, as well as cut scenes from the film and more. It's loaded with a bunch of stuff!
If you enjoy this film, I would also reconmend the movie that was released one year later-Fright Night as well as the sequel to Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II and The Incredibles for more laughs.

This is probably one of the greatest movie ideas ever invented, i mean how original can it get. The movies hilarious and believes itself to be real, in a world of such hilarity with huge green goblin ghosties, this is such a classic, words don't do ghostbusters justice. I think it takes place in NYC, but maybe Chicago or something, but the movie thinks it has saved the city and world afterward and u feel united or something. hilarious hollywood stuff.

the unpopular view
this movie aged terribly. it's too 80's. the big visual effects are not convincing in our times. i liked it allot as a kid but coming back to it years later it seemed dumb and boring. sorry but that's my unpopular view, someone has to say it.
