Boo Radley revisited
The bogeyman gets his say in the story. The movie was okay, it reminds me of Secondhand Lions, which Robert Duvall also stared in, but this is a much better film. What made this film worth watching was really Robert Duvall's performance and of course the always comedic Bill Murray. Robert Duvall's monologue in the end really got to me.

Not that Low
It has been a while since Robert Duvall has shown his true talent, and it was a long time coming until this movie. A sad, warm story about a man looking back on his life, and seeing what there is left for him ahead. It was also a nice break to see a time piece of this period, which reminded me how much I love a look back at the way life used to be. It was romantic, suspenseful and yet had an overall calming effect on me.

The rumor spreads
The film tells a sincere tale of an old man arranging what he calls his funeral party. The man, who lived his live in isolation, wants to hear the stories about him and how all the townsfolk believe he is more than a regular person. Well, you really shouldn't miss this wonderful periodic piece with the amazing duo of Duvall and Murray. Seeing Murray in a dramatic role shows how good of an actor he is, rising above his comedic clichés and delivers!
