Summary of Gamera - Attack of Legion
Gamera, the benevolent giant turtle is back in this film, produced by the same group responsible for 1995's GAMERA: GUARDIAN OF THE UNIVERSE. ATTACK OF LEGION begins as Sapporo is hit by a freak meteor shower that brings with it a race of giant destructive insects that immediately begin to lay waste to the Japanese countryside. Unfortunately, just as Gamera steps in to help, the bugs create a huge explosion that that wipes out everything in its radius, including Gamera. Unable to stop the insects with military force alone, Japan's hopes lie in their ability resurrect Gamera before it's too late.
