Summary of Everlasting Moments
Scandinavian filmmaker Jan Troell (HAMSUN) directs this drama set in Sweden at the beginning of the 20th century. Maria (Maria Heiskanen) leads a poor and difficult life, but the lottery prize of a camera gives her more options than she had ever dreamed. Not only is she able to capture the people and places around her using photography, but she also meets a photographer (CASINO ROYALE's Jesper Christensen) who shows her that there may be more to life than what she has experienced with her alcoholic husband (Mikael Persbrandt).
