I don't like how people dislike this movie for not being like the Matrix, you can't compare it to the matrix, it follows an entirely different storyline. It just has a style that resembles the action in the Matrix, or like in Ultraviolet or Aeon Flux. Having said that..
This is a very good movie! I love how it portrays the topic of emotions, and to some extent made me realize the importance of emotions, and it made me question my own. It has plenty of "matrix-y' action, and at the same you're watching all the action and the story unfold, you can be questioning your own philosophy and values and might be asking yourself philosophical questions all throughout. That was my experience with the movie, but even if you're not the type to link movies plot with life, you'll still admire Christian's Bale performance in this movie as well as the entire movie. 10/10! and underrated.

If the book, Fahrenheit 451 weren't gaudy enough, the movie after the same name was appropriately vapid. Of this latest incarnation, well, I'm at a loss for words. I honestly prefer to watch Aliens vs. Predator for intellectual stimulation. At least...

A complete ripoff of the Matrix but who cares. The "Gun Kata" martial arts scenes are impressive enough to make this a must see if you're into this type of movie.

This was a piss-poor imitation of the movie Gattica, with some "Matrix-Style" action sequences thrown in to try to distract the viewer. Don't bother.

I really liked this movie. Yes, it has a matrix/1984 kind of feel, and is almost a homage to the Ray Bradbury novel "Farenheit 451", but in my opinion it stands alone as far as action goes.

I really liked this movie. Yes, it has a matrix/1984 kind of feel, and is almost a homage to the Ray Bradbury novel "Farenheit 451", but in my opinion it stands alone as far as action goes.
I found the story line to be consistent and probable, but the action and plot twists are what make this movie re-watchable for me. If I can get at least 3 or 4 "that was awesome" moments out of a film, I'm happy. I can see why some people felt slightly bored by the plot progress, but anyone that doesn't appreciate the action scenes in this movie is clearly not a fan of action movies. Even John Woo could learn a thing or two from the fight scenes in this movie.
I can imagine not loving this movie, but I can't imagine not being entertained by it.

If you're going to depict a society that has completely done away with feelings, don't show a scene where everyone is clapping after an inspirational speech. Isn't that an emotional response? Lots of talent in this film, just had a hard time...

Farenheight 451 meets the Matrix. I had no expectations going into this movie, as I had never heard of it and I was blown away! Christian Bale gave his usual solid performance, and Taye Diggs did pretty good for his role. I hope in 15-20 years, this...
