Enter the Dragon, 1973

Not the best martial arts film I've seen. The first hour or so is just slow, laborious table-setting. Once the fighting starts, the film gets much better. Bruce Lee's martial arts work is beautiful and thrilling. There isn't the "henchmen attack one at a time" feel you get in other martial arts films--Bruce Lee is just shredding people, and his technique makes it believable. Jim Kelly also gives an interesting turn as the original Afro Ninja, Williams. Still, I found the end a bit too gimmicky. As a side note, if you like "Dumb and Dumber" and/or "Austin Powers," this film will make a number of the gags from those movies make sense.
