Great, great, great. Loved it. Great old fashioned Disney fairytale but set in New York City. Yes, a little predictable at times but you'll love it for it.

This was a very cute movie. I really enjoyed watching it. I was expecting it to be more geared for the younger audience but at the age of 20 it is now one of my favorite Disney movies...

Ever since I saw the trailer for this film, I was hooked into the idea of a realistic modern-day fairytale and Im happy to report that the actual film lived up to all of my expectations. I loved the character Giselle and the way that she changes through the film from an idealistic young girl who thinks love is a one day affair to a woman who realizes that true love needs to have honest passion and emotions, including anger.
The film works on many levels, including the successful incorporation of various homages to numerous classic Disney moments. It especially excels at being the first film in many years to successfully tell a story in both animated and live-action form. The characters are interesting, the story is strong, and overall the film was entertaining.

Her princess looks were pulled off perfectly. The movie looks really great overall. Dempsey was really, really annoying, but I suspect that's part of his character.
I love movies that leave me with something to think about, and this movie has plenty of that.

Really enjoyable until the third act, when the girls all bond over a shopping montage & Amy Adams turned into Jennifer Aniston. Originality flew out the window and stayed there. Not even Susan Sarandon could save it at the end.

I hate to admit I liked it a lot. It is great fun and the whole start in cartoon switching to real life was entertaining. When they broke out into singing I was cringing at first, but they made it actually fun when everyone suddenly joins in from nowhere. Marsden really does steal the scenes with his overt chivalry and great physical scenes. Dempsey is good but strangely he's not much of a presence compared to every other character, even his daughter in the film. It would have been fun to see Sarandon more doing some of her evil, but as it is it's a movie not too long and that's good. Being a Disney film, we all know how its going to turn out, but then again, I love happy endings.

Enchanted for me was just that, "Enchanting". I have to give the entire crew kudos for pulling this movie together as wonderfully as they did. Everyone from the actors to the extras, from the dancers to the stunt people, from the directors to the camera operators to the animators, editors, lighting, sound, props, costumes
Hey that's beginning to sound like an Oscar speech, but truly deserved! ;-) The music and choreography were original, inspired and uplifting. The filming and CGI effects were edited to perfection and quite spectacular. What I especially found appealing was that the "real life" characters were able to hold onto their animated aspects, just enough so that they stood out from the rest of the crowd. This is a movie where the entire family, young and old, can sit together and enjoy from beginning to end. Relax your inner child enough and you'll be even more surprised at how wonderful the movie will make you feel. Look for all the little plugs from other Disney films and stories; they are intricately woven throughout the entire movie. But don't expect any clues from here, they are best discovered on their own. I feel like there is so much more I could say, but will end it with this, Quene this movie for a nice afternoon viewing with your family, or by yourself as a secret indulgence for your inner child. You most certainly will not be sorry you did.
