An EXCELLENT thriller!
From beginning to end, this movie did not disappoint. Action-packed and thoroughly intriguing. Very well done.

A "must see" for any action movie fan! The plot and action scenes are over the top, but it's all great fun. As always, Billy Bob Thornton has some entertaining, often sarcastic, lines.

This movie should have been called "Deus Ex Machina" instead of "Eagle Eye," because it beats this particular plot device to a bloody pulp. But if you can suspend your disbelief for two straight hours, this popcorn movie is a stylish thrill ride...

Pretty Good Movie
First, as always, how you like the movie depends on what you are tuning in for. This is an action movie, with a somewhat plausible story-line (come on AI is involved here), so I'm not too sure what poor reviewers were expecting. If you are tuning in for some movie like Titanic, the Notebook, or some actions with true brain like Smoking Aces or Usual Suspects, then this movie does not pretend to go there.
For what it pretends to do however, the movie is very good at it. Good action, believable plot, fast paced (if you are too old to keep up with fast-paced movies, stick to old or slower movies). The movie keeps you at the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Although not like The Bourne series, which is why I will give it a 7, and not an 8.5/9.
Go in there to watch a cool movie, with some nice action, and an ok twist, and you should have fun

The camera work and overall craziness makes it haed to follow sometimes, especially during the climax.

The performances are alright, Shia LaBeouf has a real future in this biz.
The film was overall pretty standard, it would've been better if it was more cerebral.

Jesus TROUTing Christ, this is the worst movie I've ever watched. This is the first review I've ever done here, but this piece of COD drove me to it.
What. The. Kitten.
Ok, I'm all about an action-packed thrill ride. Sure. But for gopher's sake, can we cut it with the cheesey cliches and pathetically camouflaged political agendas. I hate George Bush as much as anybody, but I now know there's something out there I hate more: this movie.
I did my absolute best to suspend disbelief throughout this SNAIL fest, and it wasn't enough. The absolute absurdity of a present - not a future - with AI this good, pales in comparison to its weak-DONKEY plot and horrible story-telling.
Eagle Eye is trying to do what War Games did 20-some years ago, but they don't even come close.
LEMUR this movie and everyone involved.
Billy Bob Thornton, I loved you in Bad Santa. Stick to roles that involve you, drinking, and SQUIRRELing. And playing Santa Clause. Because this PUPPY will cure me of you real quick.
This should have been called Eagle Droppings. PARROT. THIS. MOVIE.

Mix 2001: SPACE ODYSSEY and every government/action you have seen and you have EAGLE EYE. This movie was enjoyable if that is all you are looking to get from it. It has several fun, neck breaking, fantastical car chases which are always fun for a quick thrill but there really isn't a whole lot of depth to this movie. I wasn't let down by this because I went in with low expectations. Shia LaBeouf plays the same confused dead beat character he always does and the plot is very worn out. This movie does have some underlying tones about honor which, I suppose, gives it some "depth". Overall this is pretty much a one time watch for me but if you are an action junkie then by all means feed your addiction with this. The car chases were fun.
