Drop Dead Fred, 1991

Years ago, as my daughter was playing on the porch, I was in the back yard mowing the grass. As I was maneuvering around my tree I leaned forward and lowered my head to avoid a low branch. As I did this the back wheels of the mower bounced off one of roots of the tree, and the handlebar shot up and cracked me right in the chin. Ooof.. it hurt like the dickens so I instinctively snapped my head back. Well, that was a miscalculation, causing the back of my skull to clang off of the branch I was trying to avoid in the first place. Ooh boy, oh boy. I had to stop for a second till my ears quit ringing, but my daughter sat on the porch and laughed and laughed. Funny Daddy. That's exactly the experience of watching "Drop Dead Fred": painfully unfunny and embarrassing but your kids will think it's a scream.
